Now that we're safely home from our first visit to collect the keys we'd like to give you constructive feedback which we hope is useful to you. To set the context it's fair to say that the horror stories that abound regarding property purchase in Spain are worrying and enough to make anyone nervous. We approached the issue with trepidation and being completely unfamiliar with the process. It's fair to say that we are DELIGHTED with our purchase and how smoothly it has all gone. Right from our first experience with Mark via email and telephone he was polite and knowledgeable and we appreciated the fact that he picked us up from our hotel in Torrevieja in February to view the properties. He was professional throughout and we were impressed (he was the only agent who asked us to sign a form seeking feedback on our viewings in February - an impressive attention to detail).
On returning home, contact with Mark continued in a professional manner and he worked hard to advise us when an offer was made by another party on a property that we liked. Failing to get that property left us disappointed but immediately Simone and Andrea swung into action and we felt they also understood our needs and we were presented with several options with a clear idea of what acceptable offers might look like. Throughout this they were both extremely efficient and we felt that we were in safe hands and through their hard work we've ended up with a wonderful property that we didn't actually view!
Once our offer was accepted Marianne proved to be an angel in terms of administration and all queries were answered promptly and fully. We felt in safe hands with her too. On meeting Karen we were immediately impressed with her knowledge and straightforward approach - we felt we could trust her to do everything to the letter.
The only point we would make is that, being property virgins, we didn't fully appreciate the timeline and when certain things were happening or exactly how much money we needed to have in our account at the time of purchase - perhaps a checklist detailing this would have been helpful from the time our offer was accepted. We were sometimes worried that there were things you needed us to do that we weren't aware of, a checklist might have put our mind to rest.
In summary, we are most impressed with everyone in Watsons/Barclays and will continue to sing your praises - you deserve to have continued success! We look forward to continue our friendship with you all. THANKS AGAIN!!!

Happy to give you feedback as we were very happy with the service from your team over the last few weeks. Its nice to be asked as in my experience most estate agencies are just after the money and the service is not that important.
We dealt mostly with Mark – who was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient – very helpful and not pushy – and in my dealings with Marianne – the same applies – always quick to get back to you and happy to help with any problems and questions.
Whenever I called the office it was again a good experience – could not fault it!
I have spent my working life round the hospitality industry where customer service is paramount – so I tend to be a very picky person when on the receiving end of things – and your team did you proud – big pat on the back to all!
